NT Representatives Attend APSCC 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan

Under the theme “New Tools and New Rules – How AI and Sovereignty Impact the Asia Pacific Space Ecosystem”
National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) sent its representatives to the Asia-Pacific Space Communications Council Conference (APSCC 2025), held from 4 – 6 November 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference brought together executives, experts, and professionals from the space technology sector across the Asia-Pacific region.

This year’s conference, themed “New Tools and New Rules – How AI and Sovereignty Impact the Asia Pacific Space Ecosystem,” provided a platform for exchanging knowledge and perspectives on the development of the satellite industry in an era where Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the ability to govern and control data within the country (Data Sovereignty) play a critical role in shaping the regional space ecosystem.
During the event, NT representatives engaged with satellite industry partners from various countries to strengthen collaboration in satellite infrastructure, satellite communication services across different orbits, space industry development, electronics, and sustainable digital communication technologies.

NT proudly celebrated when Natnicha Thonsungnoen, Engineer from Satellite Business Department, received the APSCC 2025 Young Talent Award, recognizing emerging professionals who have made significant contributions to advancing the satellite industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
The award includes a full scholarship (100%) to participate in the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program (SHSSP), organized by the International Space University (ISU) in collaboration with the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia. This intensive 4-week program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of space systems and activities across interdisciplinary, international, and intercultural dimensions.

Natnicha shared her thoughts on receiving the award:
“Receiving the APSCC 2025 Young Talent Award is a truly special milestone in my career. It reminds me that every challenge I have faced has meaning. I hope to continue bridging innovation with real-world impact and help connect people who are still disconnected.”
This achievement not only highlights the potential of Thai professionals on the international stage but also serves as an inspiration for the next generation in Thailand’s technology, space, and communications industries to continue advancing innovation and sustainable development.
